4.9 Please provide your character's background story:- Jin Minyeong (진민ì˜) was born on the 13th of October of 1990 in the City of Los Santos to South Korean parents. Originally from the city of Busan (부산시), South Korea (대한민êµ), her parents immigrated to the United States of America early on in their marriage, in order to pursue bigger and better career opportunities and to escape the all too familiar trouble and drama entrenched back home.
Minyeong’s upbringing was a rigorous one, as is typical of Korean households, but this did not stop her from gaining and exhibiting some rebellious tendencies. Her education was one of her parents’ focal points and, as such, she benefited in a way that was to be envied. Minnie, as she is known to her friends, went to ULSA for a bachelor in Criminal Justice, graduating with straight As and applying for and joining the Los Santos Police Department shortly after.
After spending the first five years of her career in Patrol, Minyeong joined the Detective Support Detail and worked under the South Central Homicide desk up until having to retire some two years later. She took a break from what was her day to day life, her routine, her home. She and her parents had to take a trip to Korea, where things from the past were being brought back to light. Due to this, her parents were somewhat forced to remain in their hometown of Busan.
Minyeong decided to move back to Los Santos alone without her two strongest pillars, after putting enough thought into it. She realized that a big part of her and who she was, was missing and she had to get it back no matter how troubled the road. Having returned to the Los Santos Police Department, she reassumed her position as a Detective Support Officer for the Homicide desk and went on to join and successfully complete the Detective Training Program.
After serving as a Homicide Detective for years to come, Minyeong decided it was best for her to take yet another break and spend an extended period of time back home in Korea. Reinvigorated and feeling as though the time to return was now, she did and is now venturing into other career paths.
