- [SHOW]
- Raised into a light islamic background, Sareena Husseini was born in Beirut, Lebanon on the third of January 1998. A relatively poor woman to say the least, their family struggled to make ends meet constantly, often having to sell their possessions to put food on the table. Tragically, her mother was killed during childbirth to Sareena, causing a rift in the family household. Thankfully however, her father got himself a job around about the time she turned five years old, which involved backbreaking dock work at the port of Beirut.
School became a lot easier when there was money thriving through the household. Sorrowfully, the strained relationship with her father continued which forced her grades to drop. Blamed with the death of her mother, Sareena found herself physically and psychologically abused by her father to the point of almost dropping out of school. Plagued with the incessant need to thrive and perform in a tough environment, Sareena gained headstrong traits and resilience in a time of need - forcing herself to succeed no matter the cost. She graduated high school and went straight to work at the port with her father, where she worked stock-control for many years.
The relationship with her father improved over time, softening the physical abuse that quickly turned into a nurturing care for Sareena. That all came to a head on the 4th of August, 2020 when 2,750 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate, incorrectly stored in the warehouse exploded when a portion of the warehouse caught fire, rendering hundreds of thousands of people homeless, as well as tens of thousands injured from the blast. Sareena was a victim of the explosion.
Her life started to change when she immigrated to Los Santos that same month, where various countries and heads of state took immigrants and refugees from the disaster. The blast affected Sareena mentally, having to spend the next nine months with a psychiatrist to get over the incident and to forgive herself. She took up work with an executive car company, having to sleep in the cab office until she had enough money to buy her own place. From then, it became a matter of survival. Even through the death of her parents, the explosion and having to stay in immigration for three months, Sareena survived the incident mentally and strives towards self-improvement.
Immigration to the United States was particularly tough, considering Donald Trump's ban of refugees from Syria. (https://www.pri.org/stories/2017-02-06/ ... n-refugees) Thankfully, with the ban only including refugees from Syria and not Lebanese-born nationals, Sareena Husseini was able to get a green card to enter the United States on a permanent residency. Recently, the United States has seen a significant increase of immigration from Lebanon. This is due to the Lebanon Financial Crisis. The economic system in Lebanon is failing, driving many citizens to America to re-start their life and Sareena Husseini was one of them. (https://www.visaplace.com/usa-immigrati ... y/lebanon/)
Extremely unsatisfied with her current employment, whilst the young Lebanese woman was scrolling down Facebrowser, she spotted a recruitment drive opening for the Los Santos Fire Department, where she filled in her application and waited, with bated breath, on a result. That succeeded and Sareena Husseini would be inducted into the Fire Department where she'd spend almost a year ((Two months timeskipped plus academy...)) in the department.
Unknown to her at the time, Sareena figured out later on after being coached by Nick Deimous and Bradley Puckett that she couldn't enter State Fire Marshals through LSFD. Disheartened by her employment at the LSFD, she now attempts to get herself into State Fire Marshals, which is what she originally wanted to get herself into.
