Julian Romero was born and raised in the Hispanic area of Los Santos, down deep in the ghetto. Whilst most of his peers got head first into gang banging, it never sparked Julian's interest. Often turning away attempts to groom him into the gang life with money, power and family. He knew the reality behind the gang banging life and chose to stay alive longer than eighteen. This caused a bit of hassle through his childhood, especially weaving through the chaos in Davis High School where all the younger gangsters came together under one roof to "learn."

Once Julian left school, he considered heading to college, maybe become the first Doctor to come out of the ghetto. But, it fell short quickly as he was shot down with letters upon letters denying him. Julian bounced into work instead, looking to earn some money to support his family. He did a few odd jobs here and there, mostly under the table work until he was given a formal contract at Burgershot. He slowly worked his way up to Management within that business.

Julian doesn't want to spend the rest of his life managing drop-outs and socially awkward teenagers. He left the position a few years later and went back to doing a bit of under the table work with his father as he sought out a new career. He wanted to find a position that was high paying enough, he could move his family out of the gang infested streets. Despite the fact he had already taken that step, moving out towards the County to get away from the consistent harassment from the younger gangsters he knew, now becoming the older generation.

Julian attended a careers fair, meeting some of the various government agencies and stand-alone careers. But his eyes were set on the careers within the SanFire Marshal's. Whilst he prepares himself physically and mentally, throwing in his application, he's still working with his old man just to bring in some cash to the house.
