ULSA Lecture Hall Fire Statement

Richman, Los Santos - At approximately 21:34 on the 10th November 2023, SAN FIRE Main control registered the first of multiple calls for service originating from the University of Los Santos San Andreas (ULSA) Campus’ Lecture hall located in Richman.

On arrival, Deputy Fire Marshals approached the scene to find a fully involved structure fire and began securing the scene for the Los Santos Fire Department in conjunction with the Los Santos Police Department who were also in attendance.

Campus security alerted deputies that approximately fifteen individuals were unaccounted for and a lecture and faculty meeting had been taking place when the fire broke out - This information was relayed to the Incident Command with Los Santos Fire Department over interdepartmental communication and contact was established with an individual inside the property.

One SAN FIRE deputy was transferred to Los Santos Fire Department command to assist in helping evacuate civilians from the roof before rejoining to assist with the investigation.

During the preliminary investigation, deputies liaised with LSPD Forensics and at this time have ruled out foul play with the fire being ruled as accidental due to an electrical fault with a metal detector at the door.

Our thoughts are currently with those students and faculty impacted and SAN FIRE will be working with the University of Los Santos San Andreas in the coming days to support those affected.
