DESCRIPTION
Public Information Officers are civilian, non-sworn employees that work within Public Relations Bureau personnel; they generally work together on assignments in pushing out press releases, social campaigns, public events, agency and media liaisons, community engagement, and more. The Public Relations Bureau is responsible for the publication of any and all content from the Agency to the general public - for instance, press releases, witness appeals, press requests, or press conferences.

San Fire is seeking an accomplished and dynamic professional for the position of Director of Public Relations. This non-sworn (civilian) role will contribute to the agency's mission by strategically managing public relations initiatives, fostering positive relationships with local agencies and communities, and enhancing public awareness of fire safety and emergency preparedness.

REQUIREMENTS

Must at least be twenty-five (25) years of age at the time of application. .
Must hold a valid driver's license within the State of San Andreas at the time of application. .
Must be a valid citizen of San Andreas and have a residence in the State of San Andreas. .
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Criminal Justice, Fire Science, or a related field. .
Must have previous experience in public relations or a similar role. .
Must have strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. .
Familiarity with fire safety and emergency services is a plus. .

Must have at least eighty (80) hours of in-game time, irrespective of character. .
Must have previous experience in a faction/business, irrespective of character. .
Must be able to maintain high roleplay standards, providing a realistic background story for this position. .
Must be in good standing with the community and may be disqualified from the recruitment process for prior admin record.

. . RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to enhance the agency's public image and communication efforts. .
Act as the primary spokesperson for San Fire, representing the organization in various media interactions. .
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media outlets, government agencies, community stakeholders, and the public. .
Oversee the creation and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials. .
Plan and execute public outreach programs, events, and campaigns to engage the community and promote fire safety initiatives.
