Raquel Elizabeth Collado was born late on October 16th, 2001, at Bohan Medical & Dental Center in Bohan, Liberty City. Raquel is a first-generation American of Dominican origin. She spent most of her childhood in a humble home with her parents and brother in a complex in the heart of Bohan, in Valdez St., an area surrounded by a high percentage of Hispanic people and crime.

Raquel was baptized as a Catholic as an infant and was inculcated values and principles from an early age by her mother. Her father worked in the Department of Sanitation in Liberty City as a Sanitation Worker, whereas her mother was a former first-grade teacher who dedicated her life as a housewife to raise Raquel and her brother.

In her childhood, Raquel was charismatic and curious. Although she wasn’t allowed to freely roam in her neighborhood due to the high crimes, she remained mostly at home, playing with toys and focusing on her studies to achieve high grades. As in a Hispanic household, education is the main focus. Raquel’s grades were above average, and she already knew how to speak fluently in two languages: English and Spanish.

After graduating from Bohan Community High School as one of the top 10 students in her class with an above-average GPA of 3.21 and a SAT score of 1143, Raquel pursued a degree in nursing at Bohan Community College. During her early years at college, she used to work at Bohan Bodega 24/7 for a while, then at iFruit Computers until her mid-term, where she started working at the same medical center she was delivered to, Bohan Medical & Dental Center, as a volunteer to gather knowledge and experience.

It was a hectic time for Raquel, but she remained prepared and was always adapting and learning. With time, she became more experienced, which aided her college work. She learned how to handle matters at hand, be alert, quick thinker, and work under heavy stress.

While on the job, she met nurses from different states, but one of them, who happened to end up being like a mentor to Raquel, was from Los Santos, so he always described life in Los Santos, slowly sparking Raquel’s interest. After working for many months with her mentor, Raquel decided to move to Los Santos after finishing her college degree in nursing and exercising her field in Los Santos after many talks with her family.

Now in Los Santos, Raquel was seeking job positions in the different hospitals, and while doing so, she stumbled upon a recruitment poster for the San Andreas Fire Marshal that caught her curiosity. She decided to investigate their career opportunities. It wasn’t as near as her field, but it had the core of what made her pursue her degree in the first place, and that was helping people in need. Raquel was undecided, but in the end, after considerations, she decided to take the opportunity to pursue a career as a fire marshal in the State of San Andreas.

Raquel may not be someone you would expect to be a fire marshal, but she has demonstrated dedication, responsibility, experience, and comradery from her time working as a volunteer nurse at Bohan Medical & Dental Center.
