- Joseph Torelli, a native of Los Santos, was born into this world on the 10th of March 1996 into a small and honest family of Italian-American heritage. His father kept the family fed and the bills paid by working barely-legal shifts as a postal worker trying to make ends meet with the assistance of Joseph’s stay-at-home mother and her charming dedication to keeping everyone united and happy. Though the struggles were visible and the sacrifices weren’t able to be counted with just two hands, Joseph’s childhood was average, developing and full of events as you may expect from any. Nevertheless, he had a difficult time with learning and making friends as he wouldn’t be able to get interested and engaged in the lessons presented in front of him and he would often isolate himself to watch reruns on the TV of old police, crime and rescue shows or to play with whatever makeshift toy he stumbled upon in the drawer. His teachers and his parents wanted change at all cost and after some persecution and nagging Joseph got to work on his obstacles by enhancing his focus and interest on the topics in question and he also spent time on relating with other individuals. He wasn’t certainly the fan-favorite at his local high school, he would often get picked on by his common peers and his charisma wasn’t quite present yet. That did not stop him from studying and learning and he took it upon himself to improve his communication skills, starting from the little things like dedicating some of his afternoons socializing with new people each time to fix this problem of his. Fast forward a few years, his plans to hit university were foiled as he had no funds and none of his family couldn’t help him due to some extreme financial problems, and so he had to roll up his sleeves and look for a temporary placement that would allow him to save a bunch and keep him afloat. While browsing and going around the city, he stumbled upon a recruitment career fair for the State Fire Marshals, which he took an interest in due to it's involvement in preventing arson and fire and the search of those who commit these actions for the safeguarding of the community, not to mention actually making sure that businesses are safely operating and that everything matches regulations. Nonetheless, he knew it would be a very complicated process to join and thus, he postponed his desire to prepare for what was to come. He’s hopped through a few jobs, varying from grocery stores to retail warehouses, and has never really enjoyed anything he’s gone through because it lacked relation with the outside world and the most cheering part of the day would have been clocking out. He always looked forward to something that would truly make a positive difference and would keep everyone sleeping and tucked in at night knowing that there was someone who cared, while providing a decent salary that would guarantee a modest quality of life without giving too many scares when the time came to pay in the taxes to the IRS. Finally, he decided to put his fears and doubts aside and take a shot at what peaked his curiosity and interest the most, the Fire Marshals, and send in a Letter of Interest over to their Headquarters.
