4.9 Please provide your character's background story:- Hernan Ramirez, a 36 year-old, Second Generation American male, was born and raised in the area of Vespucci, Los Santos, to a normal, financially stable family, Hernan's Hispanic heritage comes from his father's side of the family which consists of his parents and his sister Sandra Ramirez whom is currently employed by the Los Santos Sheriffs Department. Hernan's childhood was not very fascinating; he grew up with his family and attended high school on daily basis, Hernan chose to maintain a healthy lifestyle and worked on his physique, he always tried to dedicate a period of his time to the gym during school. Hernan was always eager to learn new things and do new things, he liked to be well-versed in a variety of fields, mainly ones that demanded physical activity. His parents worked as doctors at Mount Zonah, and they were dedicated to their work and chose this career to serve others, this had a significant impact on Hernan, seeing his family contributing to a good cause.
Ramirez had a lot of hobbies when he was a child, he used to watch the TV a lot with his family, usually movies related to Law Enforcement, and documentaries related to military combat, he had a huge amount of interest in the idea of protecting his people and serving his community, Hernan was also an athletic individual, he enjoyed playing sports like soccer and swimming.
After Ramirez has graduated from high school at the age of eighteen, he decided to enroll as a full-time student in a criminal justice degree program within the university of Los Santos, he spent a total of two years, studying criminal justice, as he wanted to become a Law Enforcement Officer, Ramirez has successfully obtained the associate's degree, during the two years of college, Ramirez managed to score a temporary, part-time job at the local Vespucci Ammunation where he worked as a firearms instructor. After he graduated college and earned his associate's degree, he shifted his attention to the Police Academy, Ramirez visited the Los Santos Police Department website, read the requirements, and decided to apply at the age of twenty-three, a year after he graduated, he went through the hiring process and passed the police academy exam with an average score.
Ramirez joined the Los Santos Police Department when he was twenty-three, and served a total of seventeen years, he graduated from the Field Training Officer Program and became a Field Training Officer, when Ramirez got inducted, he was assigned to the South Central district, Mission Row Patrol Division, he operated directly from the Mission Row Station, Hernan's physical standards and shooting skills sparked his interest in joining the Metropolitan Division as a tactical asset, after eight years of service, Ramirez expressed his interest into enrolling to Metro School, he graduated from Metro School and was assigned to the Metropolitan Division, operating directly from Metro HQ (114) located in La Mesa, as a probationary Canine Handler.
Throughout his seventeen years of service, Ramirez managed to make a lot of friends from inside and outside of the department, during his time in H platoon, Hernan was introduced to many sanitors whom he formed strong friendships with later down the road, one of Hernan's bestfriends was Frank Dooley, Frank and Hernan became partners during their times in the Mission Row Patrol Division, patrolling the area of South Central together most of the time, they also became Bomb Squad colleagues and worked closely together for a long period of time, Hernan and Frank were also friends outside of work.
After Frank Dooley resigned and moved over to the San Andreas Park Rangers, he remained in contact with his friend and old colleague, Hernan, keeping him updated and inviting him to graduation ceremonies of Park Rangers, as the duo grew older in their respective positions, Frank tried to talk Hernan into moving over to Park Rangers, Frank stated that he is always in need of experienced personnel, the decision was not easy for Ramirez to take, at the time, he consulted the former Metropolitan Division CO Cassandra Graves and the former OiC of K9 Platoon Christine Harris about the idea of moving to Park Rangers, Hernan was assured that if he did not like it for whatever reason, there'll always be a spot for him in Metro. After seventeen years of service, Ramirez decided to make the move and go work for his old buddy up in Paleto, it was unpleasant for him to drive from the city to Paleto on daily basis just for work, however, he managed to pull through.
During Hernan's short period in Park Rangers, he felt like he was treated differently by the majority of the agency's seniors, he always felt unwelcomed and was being pressured and pushed further towards resigning. Hernan decided to take a break from work and try to get his life back together after he made the worst decision in his life, during this time, Hernan encountered former Police Captain Cassandra Graves and Sergeant Christine Harris on multiple occasions, they expressed their willingness and approval to have him back in PD Metro, asked him to transfer back, that's when Hernan decided that he is much more appreciated somewhere else, and decided to submit his resignation memo, and dedicating some time for himself before moving back to PD Metro.
During this period, Hernan managed to score himself a temporary job at the Ammunation on Spanish Avenue instead of staying at home. Hernan met his significant other, she helped him get the pressure off his chest most of the time, Hernan spent most of his time with her after he submitted his resignation, the couple got married in the end, Hernan invested the money he saved from his time in PD Metro into a proper family house and is on the way of having his own child.
