- Efa Fiore, born in the picturesque city of Los Santos, San Andreas. She grew up in close proximity to the most beautiful of beaches, the best restaurants, and picture-perfect residencies. With the want for the children to gain the most of their education under their mother’s watchful eye Efa and her siblings were set to be home-schooled. Her mother being from France brought an incredible amount of culture into their home as well as opportunities of other languages. Not only would this pave the way for learning skills tailored to her interests, but also the opportunity to learn both French and English in a bilingual household.
Fiore had what many would call a perfect upbringing. Her father, a CEO to his own company in travel, and her mother staying at home to look after Efa and her older siblings, she had the best of everything. The children could want for nothing however they were taught at a young age the values of money, respect, and employment.
Throughout the years the Fiore family moved from the states to Europe to facilitate the head of the family’s businesses. Marseilles, Lyon, Paris, and finally Bern in a move to Switzerland. Bern was where they settled down for the children to attend higher education in a facility other than their home. Their school life was rather awkward where the children had never really socialised in a public educational facility. The Fiore siblings found the struggle to fit into the public setting at first where they were unable to hold free roam of the establishment as they once would at home. From needing to queue for school lunches to requesting to go to the bathroom it was a strange adjustment they were teased for but in due time they became prime popularity among others.
It was only natural for Efa to be a social butterfly among her peers. In her previous years of home education, she would frequent the beach and from an early age was already swimming and surfing with her older brothers and sister. She became a junior Lifeguard during her time in Marseilles and Paris where she could venture between the beaches and public pools. Her social skills with various age groups made her popular not only among students but too teachers.
Fiore passed through her education with flying colors despite her moves across France to Switzerland. She graduated with a scholarship to one of Switzerland’s leading universities, FNHW, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Following her graduation, she knew that there were brighter horizons for her elsewhere in the world which brought her back to her home in Marseilles.
In her move to Marseilles Efa spent the best of two years with the CRS Lifeguards where she continued her love of surf and swimming. It wasn’t until her twenty-fifth birthday she made the move to America with ambition to travel and see the world, to experience more than what Europe had to offer, and to further her career in the medical industry for what it had to offer within the realms of the Fire Department. Her journey began in North Carolina before proceeding to Los Santos in regaining her title as a permanent US Citizen.
Lifeguarding became the only career Efa had ever known with her love of surf and sea, however she always felt there was more to a career than being isolated on a beach. She tampered with a variety of options and researched them thoroughly such as being a Firefighter, progressing to become a Paramedic, however these options ever held her at a dead end. She loved the idea of being part of the community, to aid people in more ways than by spectating their safety on the sands. In want to remain within the realms of the Los Santos Fire Department she came across the sister department, San Andreas Fire Marshals.
In her research she found more to the world of being a Fire Marshal than she anticipated. The direct community approach, the ability to help people in their homes as well as business, creating a better quality of life and reassurance all around. Knowing that in such a role there was that sense of security and stability for the community peaked her interest greatly, as well as seeing the articles written of their most recent event. From there her research expanded in learning what the day to day life of a Fire Marshal was, how inspections were handled, what extra work they did for the community, and how exactly she could become part of the process.
