Emilio was born on the sixth of Feb 2001 in Los Santos to two Mexican migrant parents, his mom and dad started up their own business, using their own family recipes from Mexico to sell delicious food this meant that Emilio's fianancial situation was alright and stable however Emilio was a very ordinary kid growing up, he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but he knew his way around physical stuff, as he was strong for his age and enjoyed working with his hands. He wasn't very kind and caring as a kid, instead he would usually pick on others and overall be very judgemental, even in school he got to troublemaker antics and got into fights, trouble with the teachers and was an overall menace. That was most of his child-hood, his family didn't allow him in the business at the time because he was still a kid however they still taught him how to cook at home.

Turning 15 Emilio nearly failed the grade and this gave him a massive scare that he actually needed, he stopped being an overall troublemaker fearing his friends getting ahead of him and getting left behind. His personality also changed with puberty, he stopped being extremely disrespectful and eventually learned to control his emotions and kept things to himself. Seeing Emilio starting to mature his family allowed him to work at the business and he started working there at age 16, allowing him to gain a whole new entire skill-set, he thought he had his future paved ahead of him, he was going to be a chef and expand his familys business, taking life more seriously his grades started to improve. Casaus eventually graduated his high-school with pretty high marks and began working at his Family's place, a year goes by with the same thing and something unexpected happens, due to poor safety and regulations at his family's business it eventually catches alight and the business burned down with his mother and father still inside.

Being unable to escape. They both tragically died in the fire and the business was destroyed, this sent Emilio in downward spiral of depression, he withdrew from social activties, he blamed himself for not doing anything about the poor conditions at the place, resulting in his mom and dads death he was also severely injured also. Emilio started to drink alot and became a alcholic, isolated from the rest of the world unable to cope with his families loss, the rest of his family did an intervention and he started to recover slowly from the tragedy. He needed to find something new to do and his mind wanted something to do.. just something to relieve this tragedy from his mind. He started searching for jobs about fire and eventually found one that was practically calling his name, the Fire Marshals as they were in charge of inspection, safety and regulations. Emilio felt if he applied to be one, he would feel better about himself and considered himself helping the community from living the same tragedy as him. So, he started to get sober with his families help, quit smoking and began working on himself.. eventually after a year he decided to apply for the job, after considering himself to be in shape to do so.
