Lennie Clifford is a 30-year old American female, brought up in the neighborhood of Rockford Hills. Ever since her childhool, she was adamant on making an impact on society in a good way. She was raised by Henry and Margot Clifford, being the only child in the house. Her dad was a firefighter and her mom was in the police, shaping her mindset into doing something that reflected towards the society she lived in. Lennie was an extrovert from the start, she made a lot of friends in her elementary school years. She was that one friend in the group who always had a joke to crack, even when everything else seemed to fall apart. Her humor and her jolly personality shaped her personality into the "attractive" kind, helping her to form bonds that lasted until after college. Mom was always busy with work, being a Homicide Detective which made her form a strong connection with her Dad.
During her high school years, she used to go out cycling with her Dad every Saturday. It was clear that she got all her personality traits from him since he was of a similar nature, cracking jokes to cheer Lennie up whenever she felt down or if it was something that happened at school. They'd talk all day long about Mom not being around, and Dad always said that Mom was just very devoted to her career and that's why she couldn't come and hang around with the family. It was almost a month later after the last bicycling trip with her Dad that she got the call that changed her life. It was from Captain Grey, one of Dad's bosses who said that Lennie's father lost his life while fighting a structure fire. She broke down, both mentally and physically. Her mom got the news and immediately rushed home, leaving all her work behind. They both mourned for the lost one together, but as time moved on, her Mom moved on. She was of the thought that Lennie's dad was stupid to be the "Los Santos's Bravest" and risk his life but she was clearly just being delusional since she almost did the same. Margot Clifford eventually found herself a new partner to keep her sane from everything that had happened, leaving Lennie in a void. Lennie always had the support of her father, giving her advice on every step of life. She used to weep and break down into tears whenever she'd think about him but she had to move on, she could not be stuck in a loop forever and have her life halted because of the rushing thoughts.
Lennie gratuated her high school and started helping around at the fire station her dad used to work at. Everyone there already knew her and treated her like family. Her father was a good friend to everyone in the station, so Lennie would go around at the station whenever she had free time on her hands and relax there with the others. The firefighters would tell her stories about all the calls they would respond to, but this was just a temporary way for Lennie to fill the hole in heart. She could not replace her father or the thoughts that would come rushing down her head. On a Tuesday evening, she went for coffee with her best friends from High School and hung out. They told her that they were already pursuing further education and degree options, to which Lennie was blank and had no idea what to do next. On the suggestion of one of her friends, she enrolled in an Associate Degree program and got her qualification from there.
Lennie's mom wanted Lennie to be strong, just like her. She got her a job at a local security firm pursuant with the ongoing associate degree that she was working on. Even though at start, Lennie hated it. She hated Mom and the idea of being like her but then realization hit her. She thought, "I don't have to be like her. I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and be like my Dad." which seemed common sense at the time. Lennie kept on with the security job, which taught her how to interact with people who weren't cooperative. That was the gist of the whole job. She did tasks at various events that hired the firm, from watching exits to doing security sweeps and keeping the event sealed for any security anomalies. A year into the firm, with tons of experience on her hands, she wanted to go for something bigger. She had valid qualifications and applied from Gruppe 6, a well known corporate security firm in Los Santos. She got accepted into their ranks and worked there for a brief period, gaining knowledge about all the corporate values, hierarchies and get the know about the world of corporate security. It was clear that Lennie was building towards a solid career at this point, with her resume full of experience. She took this time to learn from the best in corporate security, doing night shifts as a Diamond Casino Security Guard and day shifts as an officer of Gruppe 6. Lennie was making big bucks from all this effort, trying to crowd her mind from the thoughts of her dad. As she moved on through her career, she started to mature up and think about the important things in her life.
During this time frame, Lennie met a guy in Gruppe 6 who she thought of as really sweet at the time. Though as all things fall apart, her relationship did too. It worked out for a month until he was in Los Santos but then he moved back to his hometown to work from there, which made it almost impossible for the relationship to work out. Lennie wasn't fond of long-distance commitments and broke apart soon after. Her failure of a relationship and her experience on the street made her tough like her mom, but also have a soft spot in her heart like her Dad. This is when Lennie came across SAN Fire's public event that was being hosted. There was a huge board saying "Arson Prevention" and her reflexes dragged her right towards it. She came to know about this entity, and figured out that this had aspects of both the Fire Department and the Police combined. Her mind clicked right to it, what else could she want? Her dad, a fallen firefighter and her mom, a retired police officer. It looked like the perfect opportunity for her. So she did what anyone else would do in her shoes, she applied and waited for a response from SAN Fire.
