- Rosa Laurenson was born on the 15th of December 1999, in Juniper Hill, San Fierro. She came from a family with a modest financial background, as her father works as an electrical technician at a local company and her mother is a stay-at-home wife. She was an only child due to her mother's ovulation disorders and struggled at first with the lack of siblings. However, her father would often take her to the park in the Juniper neighborhood, and she eventually grew to love spending time there. Over time, Rosa grew accustomed to being on her own and now spends much of her free time.
She developed an interest in computers at a young age after observing her father working on one. At 16, her curiosity for how they functioned grew and she made a concerted effort to understand their concepts. As she progressed through high school, her analytical thinking skills flourished, resulting in an outstanding performance in math-related subjects. Upon graduating from high school at 18 with excellent grades, she earned a scholarship to attend college at King's.
After two months, Rosa enrolled in Saint Joseph's College of Engineering and was awarded a scholarship that covered 80% of her tuition for an associate's degree in computer science. This gave her the opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming a software developer. The following year, she was offered an internship at JavaR Development, a software company in Los Santos, where she completed her final college project and received her associate's degree. Her outstanding work earned her a part-time job offer from the company, which required her to move out of her parent's home and start a new life in Los Santos. With the help of her parents' savings and employment salary, she was about to obtain a vehicle for transportation. During her free time, she often digs up police reality shows and reads law enforcement magazines about the latest incidents within the Los Santos area. Sometimes she goes beyond the incident and looks up a few protocols that she reads about in articles on the internet, which captivated her interest in law enforcement.
Upon the end of the contract, JavaR refused to renew the employment, leaving Rosa jobless. One day, as she was walking around the streets of LS, she passed by the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department flyer promoting the position opening of Law Enforcement Technician. Given her experience in computer science, she decided that it'll be best for her to finally pursue one stable career and the position opening is suitable for her as she has always been a computer geek and at the same time interested in the systems and protocols of law enforcement. Ever since, she had been a public response dispatcher for 1 year and 3 months. Despite her love for computers, she was often bored with sticking to computers all day long as it's a routine thing that doesn't require much creativity, but however while listening to other deputies' calls and such, her interest in law enforcement theme grew more. One day in the office, all Law Enforcement Technicians received a promotional flyer about LSSD Deputy Sheriff's Trainee position opening up. Nothing at that time stopped her from taking this big step into full-time law enforcement officer, even her love for computer science which she agreed it is a hobby for her instead. Rosa Laurenson worked as a Deputy Sheriff Trainee for 1 year and a month.
As she was progressing in field training, she once met a few Deputy Fire Marshals in the Twin Towers facility processing a suspect. She took this opportunity to meet with them and assist them with processing the inmate. During so, she inquired so much about Deputy Fire Marshal's duties and so. Rosa then became so interested in the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection as it was for her an upgrade from county to a state-wide job, and a little bit much safer than her current job as Deputy Sheriff. At the time, Rosa wasn't satisfied with the nature of the job in LSSD as she was assigned to Davis' Sheriff's Station which is well known for its high criminal rate. After takings a few days of consideration, she decided to make this commitment by submitting her resignation and seeking employment within the San Andreas Department of Forestry and Fire Protection as a Deputy Fire Marshal. While waiting for the new recruitment batch, she took this chance to search more about the department's duties and learn the San Andreas Fire Code. Thanks to this research, she was satisfied with the job's details and insisted more to take this opportunity and apply for the department, hoping to get accepted and start a new chapter in her life.
