The document serves as the public information center, for members of the public, employees of the San Andreas Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or from other agencies to understand the complaint process when reporting a Fire Marshal, and to have a step by step procedure explaining the process, and how to report a Fire Marshal. These complaints are considered confidential and will be directly sent to the Internal Affairs Bureau. If a complaint is to be filed against one of the chiefs respectively, it shall be sent privately to the other members of Command (see the Public Contact List), and a State Investigation, will be commenced rather than an internal investigation.
When a complaint is received, a thorough review will be commenced, to determine whether the complaint is in possible violation of internal policy, or any criminal complaint that needs review in the determination of a crime has been committed. If a full investigation is taking place, the employee who is reported will be brought in for questioning regarding the incident and will be asked to inform of their side of the situation. We ask that if you have any evidence, to please as-well, attach it to the respective areas required in the complaint form. Once the investigation is concluded, a final response will be given to the reporting party regarding the conclusion. The conclusion response will have brief information about the case and will include if the reported employee is found in direct violation, and any punishment that has been issued.
The official complaint can be submitted via email to the Internal Affairs Bureau, or be filed in person at the Rockford Hills Headquarters.
(( When reporting a faction member, we ask that you include additional out-of-character information, so if an Internal Investigation is commenced, the evidence, and the report itself, can be validated if needed. Out of character information will not be shared in any way shape or form, and will only be used if the report itself, needs to be questioned within an administrative ruling. Players should not leave out OOC evidence that might be required to justify in-character evidence (for example, screenshotting but not actually RP taking the photo). If the evidence provided cannot be backed with OOC evidence, do not place it. Evidence needs to be proven validated and cannot just be a video/screenshots of an incident that has occurred. If one is found lying within evidence, a report will be made to the administration team. ))
