LSIA Aircraft Fire Statement
Los Santos International, Los Santos - At approximately 20:26 on the 14th December 2023, SANFIRE Main control received an call for service from Los Santos International from a pilot reporting their aircraft on fire.
On arrival, Deputy Fire Marshals approached the scene to find firefighters engaging in fire suppression efforts of a small private aircraft. Marshals assisted the San Andreas Air Authority in establishing a perimeter. The Los Santos Fire Department and SAN FIRE worked hand-in-hand to render aid to one victim suffering from smoke inhalation.
Knockdown was declared at 21:05 and the scene was handed over to San Fire and the SAAA for preliminary investigation during which the remains of the aircraft were examined.
At this time, San Fire cannot comment further on the incident as the investigation has been handed to the San Andreas Air Authority, all enquiries should be forwarded to the SAAA.
