- Louis Garnier is a 25 year old born in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a Second-Generation American after his mother and father moved to the United States from Paris, France. His father was almost never home due to working as a Sales Representative for a Medical Corporation, this constant absence caused strain on the father-son relation of the Garnier's family. During a very early age Louis was taught French and English, his early ages weren't eventful, it wasn't until his second year in Middle School that Louis started to get interested towards a career field, his heart and mind were set on becoming a Firefighter for the Charlotte Fire Department (or any department), during the start of High School he became involved in CFD Explorers program and Resident Camp (over the summers). He was able to gain knowledge on the Fire Service career field and experience how the department operated, however he also started to involve himself in the athletic field, playing for the Football Team as a Wide Receiver which would benefit Louis later in his life (and career), due to the Student-Athlete status he was able to pass on getting a job during his high school tenure. Through his Sophomore to Senior year he gained a fame to college talent-scouts for being a rocket, which gifted him a pool of scholarships to numerous schools however he picked a full-ride scholarship to the University of North Carolina - Charlotte due to it's proximity and programs. He pursued a degree in Fire and Safety Engineering Technology with a minor in Security and Intelligence Studies. He sought employment with the Charlotte Fire Department a year after graduating High School, where he went through the 26 week academy where he gained his EMT-B and Firefighter Certifications, his career and college life layered pressure onto Louis until his graduation from UNC Charlotte, he was employed for six years, where he joined the Special Operations team in their Technical Rescue component, he was also rewarded the Medal of Distinguished Action for rescuing a fellow firefighter and injured civilian from a 5-Alarm High-Rise Structure fire. During 2023 he started to suffer from occupation doubts, wanting to progress further into the fire career field but not rise into a command position, he started to see more videos and ads in relation to San Andreas and departments in the State, despite the upcoming recruitment drive for the Los Santos Fire Department, Garnier became more interested in the Office of the State Fire Marshal due to his degree in fire protection and fire investigation, his previous experiences would enable him to progress in the Los Santos Fire Department however wanting a occupation shift, his efforts were made to start a new similar career in Fire Investigations, while he could have joined the Fire Investigation Task Force for the CFD, he wanted to be apart of a larger organization. His effort to make a decision weren't made without hardship and heavy doubt due to his six years of experience as a member of front-line fire suppression, eventually he'd put in a formal resignation in hopes of obtaining a career in the Office of the State Fire Marshal in the State of San Andreas with the idea of protecting civilians and business owners from accidental or purposeful fires. His most memorable fire that was caused by arson was the same 5-Alarm High-Rise Structure fire that caused four deaths, and awarded him with the Medal of Distinguished Action, with this fire in his mind it helped push Garnier towards a change towards investigating and putting arsonists behind bars.
