SAN FIRE's July Career Fair kicks off July Recruitment
SAN FIRE opened for its July recruitment drive on Thursday, kicking off recruitment efforts with a career fair in conjunction with the Los Santos Sheriff's Department's Parks Bureau on Friday 5th at the SAN FIRE Vespucci Training Facility.
The fair, organized by the Recruitment Bureau and promoted by Public Relations was hailed a great success as members of the local community flocked to enjoy an evening in the late day sun of Vespucci as they met with Deputy Fire Marshals that make up the ranks of the department from the many divisions such as Arson Canine, Arson Prevention Team, and Field Operations with the many stories of their career and some of their canine companions.
Prospective applicants were encouraged to sign up at the event, with recruitment bureau Marshals offering a helping hand as well as all attendees receiving one of the SAN FIRE teddy bears sold by the LS Fire Foundation in aid of the Los Santos Fire Department.
The Recruitment Bureau within San Fire is thrilled with the outcome of the July Career Fair, surpassing our expectations.
The public has shown great interest in finding out more about the duties and day-to-day operations of San Fire, alongside getting a better insight into its divisions and their responsibilities. It was a perfect opportunity for any future applicant to gather firsthand information to ensure it’s a career path they are willing to take. We would also like to thank the Deputy Fire Marshals, who worked tirelessly as a team while interacting with the public to provide valuable information.
It has provided great advertisement for the July Recruitment Batch, which closes on July 14th, 2024. Judging by the feedback, we believe people enjoyed the overall experience and learned something new. We plan to repeat this event in the future. - San Fire's Recruitment Bureau said in a statement to Public Relations.
This month SAN FIRE's recruitment will run from July 5th to July 13th with prospective applicants being interviewed and moved on to the latter stages should they be successful involving an examination and LEO academy in which their resilience, skill, testament to learn, and existing knowledge will be tested.
With Friday's event was a success, not just for SAN FIRE recruitment. But, for SAN FIRE overall as the department ramps up recruitment efforts for the summer and ongoing San Andreas wildfire season.
